Family Feud: Name something that gets passed around

Safeway (Von's) Mistakenly Gives Pregnant Woman Abortion Pill?!?!

Make sure you check your prescription before you take it.  This woman in Colorado... excuse me, this pregnant woman in Colorado was at Safeway and got her antibiotic prescription filled at their pharmacy.  One of the Safeway pharmacy clerks gave her the prescription to somebody with the same last name.  They gave her Methotrexate.  This is a drug used for the treatment of cancer.  Unfortunately, Methotrexate can also be used to  medically terminate a pregnancy.

The woman is 6 months pregnant with her first baby.  She took this medication under the assumption it was for her.  Whoa....  I smell a lawsuit.  She started to feel nauseous.

"I came back and I looked at the bottle and it wasn't my name," she said. "My doctor immediately told me to try and make myself vomit to see if I could get the medicine to come back up."

They gave her charcoal at the hospital to hopefull absorb the Methotrexate.

Safeway's statement on the matter:
When the pharmacist became aware of what happened, he worked with the patient and with her physicians to minimize any possible health consequences to the patient and her unborn child. We have extended our sincere apologies to the customer, and offered to pay any medical expenses incurred as a result of a prescription error. We are also very concerned about how this happened and we are conducting a full and complete investigation. Safeway has pharmacy systems and processes in place to prevent this kind of occurrence.
"Sorry's not going to cut it. I'm going to have to deal with this for a long time," said the woman. "My baby could have deformities. There's a lot that goes with it."

Oh man...

Bianca Beauchamp in a Fishnet catsuit

Bianca Beauchamp is in fishnets here.  Have you ever heard of Bianca Beauchamp?  I never have either, but a quick Google search tells me that she is an adult fetish model from Canada.  Ok....  What does that mean?  She has some NSFW pictures if you do an image search for Bianca Beauchamp and have your safe search filter turned off.

The only reason I am talking about Bianca Beauchamp is because I am a sucker for fishnet catsuits.  These aren't exactly fishnets on Bianca, but the fleur-de-lis looks good to.

How to identify a meth lab

My friend is a "Retired" law enforcement officer.  This is the information he gave me on how to identify a meth lab.
"I have been approached by several people lately wanting to know how to identify a Meth Lab. Here is a picture of four Labs. I think it's pretty obvious which one is the Meth Lab.  I hope this helps.   Let me know if I can be of any further service in this matter."

Ender's Game the movie... YES!

You have no idea about the level of my excitement!  Ender's Game the Movie!!!

The writers behind Star Trek and first two Transformers movies, screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, have unveiled their involvement in a highly anticipated Sci-Fi alternate reality project: It is an adaptation of a novel by Orson Scott Card called Ender’s Game.  These guys aren't going to be satisfied until they get involved with almost every (semi-)cult TV show or film franchise out there.  Ender's Game is still one of my favorite stories.  Oh man... imagine the sequel, Ender's Shadow.  WOW! For the record, Ender's Shadow is actually the 5th book in the series.  It occurs simultaneously with Ender's Game.

K/O (as they refer to themselves), Kurtzman and Orci, have helped develop a script based off Card’s controversial 1985 work and are shopping it around to studios.  With help from some director named Gavin Hood. He directed X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The word on the street is Hood edited the Ender’s Game screenplay and he saw it as a potential directing project last September.  This is the first talks of K/O getting brought up in the conversation.
Orci tweeted the news last night and confirmed it to Screen Rant. Regardless of what people think about K/O's cinematic and television output quality, it is hard not to praise their work ethic. K/O co-created Fringe with J.J. Abrams; penned Jon Favreau’s comic book genre mashup, Cowboys & Aliens; produce and write for the Hawaii Five-0 series; and are currently working on the first draft of the Star Trek 2 screenplay.

Orson Scott Card’s novel, Ender's Game, is about a young kid named Andrew “Ender” Wiggins.  Ender is a pre-teen with a brilliant, yet violent temperament.  Ender's brilliance attracts the attention of the International Fleet (a.k.a. IF) – a planetary organization formed by humans after two deadly attacks by an insectoid alien race known as the Formics (a.k.a. “Buggers”)... think Starship Troopers.  Ender is selected to train at the Battle School after excelling as a new recruit.  The Battle School is an outer space military school used to prepare Earth’s most brilliant children to defend against the next Bugger invasion. Make sense?  Seriously, I think Starship Troopers was inspired by Ender's Game.

"Ender’s Game follows its dangerous protagonist through his experiences at the Battle School, where he excels at training exercises and proves himself to be a ruthless tactical genius. But the mysterious and unseen leaders of the school remain ever watchful of Mr. Wiggins progress – and have much bigger plans for the boy than even he could imagine.

The original book is a multiple-award winner with a devoted following, but has also attracted its share of detractors who criticize how Card justifies young Ender’s brutally destructive but seemingly effective methods and behavior. It’s difficult to not be concerned about how Hood will handle a less than clean-cut character like that – seeing as that the last time he helmed a movie whose protagonist was a loner prone to violent outbursts, the results were… well, the less than well-received Wolverine prequel."
Be sure to get your copy of Ender's Game before it gets popular and overpriced! Ender's Shadow is highly recommended to.

RIP Stormtrooper

Yes, I agree that a picture is worth a thousand words.  This picture by Shobrick will speak for itself.  He called it Stormtrooper RIP.  What do you think?

Fox News doesn't know where Egypt is

I couldn't believe it when I first saw this. How can Fox News not know where Egypt is. Granted, this screen shot is a few years old. Note the Dow is down 37.94. This is not FOX News reaction to current events in Egypt at all. I wonder where they think Iraq is. hahaha
